CPW in the Community

Our corporate social responsibilities are central to what we do, and we’re always keen to support the important work done by charities and community groups.
Recent initiatives have included:

Linden Education Trust

We’re helping equip three primary schools in Guyana with their first computers and IT networks. The first batch of refurbished PCs were despatched in October 2008.

Claydon High School

We helped A level students to learn how businesses use Access databases.
Then three Key Stage 4 students worked with us on a work-related learning programme, learning about health and safety, how to install software on PCs and how to connect up to the internet.

The Green Light Trust

We’ve offset our carbon emissions by paying for trees to be planted as a part of a wild space project at a local school.

The Waterfront Community Centre

This locally-based charity helps rehabilitate young offenders. We donated refurbished computer equipment to help it get off the ground.

Staff involvement

We support the “Make a Wish Foundation” through a payroll giving scheme.
Every one of our staff has six days a year to support community or charitable activities. Our receptionist, Louisa Heath, for instance, works with the RSPCA and the Suffolk Foundation. Our office manager, Ainsley Wilkins, is a trustee of the Wilkins Memorial Trust, which provides practical support to poor Nepalese families.
