CPW in the Community

Our corporate social responsibilities are central to what we do, and we’re always keen to support the important work done by charities and community groups.
Recent initiatives have included:

Linden Education Trust

We’re helping equip three primary schools in Guyana with their first computers and IT networks. The first batch of refurbished PCs were despatched in October 2008.

Staff involvement

We support the “Make a Wish Foundation” through a payroll giving scheme.
Every one of our staff has six days a year to support community or charitable activities. Our receptionist, Louisa Heath, for instance, works with the RSPCA and the Suffolk Foundation.

Claydon High School

CPW recognise the importance of businesses working alongside those in Education.  Consequently we regularly take on Work Experience Candidates from various schools and take part in curriculum based projects – notably with Claydon High School and we took part in a very exciting “Learning About Work” day with them.

Jeans for Genes Day

CPW Computing supported Jeans for Genes Day which took place on Friday 7th October to raise money for children with genetic disorders.  Thats because 30,000 babies are born every year in the UK with a genetic disorder.

Employees were able to wear their jeans to work for a donation of £2.
We endeavour to arrange other events and will provide more information as things evolve!
