Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)

There’s a whole raft of legislation governing the way you run your business, how it affects the health and safety of people who work for you, and those for whom you provide services.

Amongst these are...

  • Health and Safety at Work Act (1974)

  • Electricity at Work Regulations (1989)

  • Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations (1999)

Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (1998), organisations

So, you need to ensure that the electrical and electronic equipment you own and operate is safe for employees and others to use. Regular PAT Testing is the recommended – cost-effective – way of meeting your obligations.

We specialise in the testing of IT equipment such as PCs, servers, monitors and peripherals. All our testing is carried out in accordance with the Institution of Engineering and Technology’s codes of practice.

Our fully-trained engineers can inspect, test and certify all your portable appliances using the latest PAT equipment. When the work is completed, we’ll provide a written report and a test certificate for your records.
